- Looking for a 2nd shift inventory Clerk
- Hours 2PM-10:30PM
- Monday -Friday OT and Weekends as needed
- Pay Rate $19.00 after 160 hours completed $20
- Effectively provide accurate data, and information to all relevant departments within our operations, that need assistance with inventory reconciliations or inventory verifications.
- Ensures the timely and accurate dissemination of information through creating, updated reporting, and distributing various reports to management as necessary.
- Demonstrates adherence to the company's established policies and procedures. Ensuring strict compliance with all safety protocols, processes, and safety requisites.
- In charge of various responsibilities within the department but not restricted to; meticulously monitoring and documenting inventory changes, conducting regular cycle counts on a rotating basis, and ensuring accurate reconciliation of any inventory discrepancies.
- Demonstrate versatility to work in different areas of operation on a rotational basis such as the storage rack area, control desks, following leadership's instructions to meet the ever-changing demands of the business.Flexibility of scheduled work hours to accommodate business needs. (OT/ Change of hours for season)
- Showcase the ability of being a team player by collaboratively engaging and working side by side with fellow associates, to provide support in the processes and work areas that our inventory team supports. This also involves being responsive to the needs of others, and offering assistance when needed, all while cultivating a positive and cooperative work environment.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Inventory Control practices (cycle counting, data analysis, record and documentation, costing)
- Use of an RF scanner (handheld radio frequency device)
- Technical Skills (Typing, 10 Key, Gmail, Excel, pivot tables, formulas, Word, Google Docs)
- Good organizational skills, multitasking, and time management.
- Decision making, problem solving, and analytical thought process (priority, time to complete, level of effort)
- Demonstrates the ability to work independently and with others.
- Attain a high level of detail and awareness.
- Ability to perform and resolve addition, subtraction, multiplication and division problems, including counting in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
- Must have very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English, as well numerical literacy.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift/move objects of 25 lbs consistently and up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Frequently required to sit, stand, twist, bend, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Occasionally required to climb and / or balance.
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close and distance range vision, gauge depth perception, and differentiation of colors.
