Dermatology at the Lakes|Detroit Lakes, MN
Dermatology at the Lakes is locally owned, physician-led dermatology clinic providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology services to patients across northern Minnesota and parts of North Dakota.
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team full-time. This role supports providers with both clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced dermatology setting.

Schedule
Day shifts only
- Tuesday-Friday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
- No nights
- No weekends
- No holidays
- Closed Mondays
- 3 day weekends
Responsibilities
- Rooming patients and obtaining medical histories
- Assist providers with procedures (biopsies, excisions, Mohs surgery, cosmetic treatments)
- Prepare and sterilize instruments
- Document in EMR (EZDERM experience a plus)
- Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic
- Assist with prior authorizations, scheduling, and patient callbacks
- Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
Qualifications
For Medical Assistant (MA):
- Certification required
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
For Licensed Practical Nurse
- Active Minnesota LPN license
- Clinical experience preferred (dermatology a plus)
