Hospital Overview: Grand Montecito Animal Hospital is looking for a Kennel Attendant to join our team. We are a family oriented practice which strives to provide outstanding quality care to our patients and clients.
Candidate Overview: We are looking for a responsible person to join our Kennel team. Some experience with handling animals is preferred. Potential candidates will have a genuine love and passion for animals, be an extremely motivated team player, and thrive in a fast paced environment. Time management and the ability to multi-task are essential. Excellent communication needed with concise verbal and written skills.
Job Description:
This position not only includes loving on our furry guests but cleaning up their messes
Housekeeping duties which include but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, laundry, disposing of trash, sanitizing, and restocking inventory
Fast paced and very physically demanding
Communicating with clients in a professional manner in person and on the phone when necessary
Assists Veterinarians, Technicians, and Assistants with patient care and treatment
Charting patients boarding stay
Requirements:
Reliable transportation
Able to stand for multiple hours at a time
Must be able to bend and kneel repeatedly
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be available for closing shifts weekdays (12-8 pm), weekend shifts (8-5 pm)

Uniform Program – 2 new sets of scrubs provided annually
