Carolina Eastern, South Carolina’s largest fertilizer company with more than $100 million in sales, is expanding its Turf and Ornamental division across the Southeastern United States. The company manufactures, distributes, and applies fertilizer, soil amendments, chemicals, and seed for the turf, ornamental, and agricultural industries.
Candidates should be self-motivated, comfortable with occasional overnight travel, and able to build, maintain, and grow customer accounts. Prior sales experience in the Green Industry is preferred.
Salary Range
Commensurate on experience.
This role offers a competitive base salary plus performance-based commission. Total annual earnings typically range from $65,000 to $175,000+, depending on individual performance.

Job Description
· Meet and exceed annual territory goals and objectives
· Identify new market opportunities
· Develop and maintain marketing programs to promote interest in our products and services.
· Develop and coordinate sales activities
· Maintain and develop working relationships with customers
Required Skills
· Knowledge of pesticides and fertilizer and how they are used by Golf Course Superintendents, LCO’s, Sports Turf Managers and Nursery Managers.
· Superb planning and presentation skills
· Excellent sales and negotiation skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication
