Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as conveyors, compressors, motors, and pumps.

Perform work order repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.

Set up and operate welders, drill presses, grinders, hand tools, and other metalworking equipment.

Operate mobile equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating booms.

Participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.
-
Maintain professional and courteous conduct while carrying a phone during work hours.

Maintain 5S standards throughout the facility.

Support the Rittal Production System through preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional personal protective equipment as required.

Follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures.

Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift.

Occasionally lift up to 80 pounds to waist level.

Frequently lift 25–50 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above shoulder level.

Ability to climb ladders and work at elevations up to 90 feet.

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, and high noise levels.

May be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Regular use of cleaning solvents, oils, lubricants, and other substances.

Must be available to work any shift.

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum 1 year of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems preferred.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Ability to write detailed repair reports and communicate effectively.

Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to learn maintenance software for data entry and parts research.
