Who You Are
The Holy Cow Food Truck Lead is a natural leader with strong communication skills, solid
organizational ability, and the composure to perform under pressure throughout the day. You set
the standard for the rest of the truck crew — you are the link between smooth operations and
delivering the smash burger experience our customers expect every single time.
What You Will Do
As the Holy Cow Food Truck Lead, you are responsible for running an efficient, high-quality
service from prep to close. Your goal is simple: make sure every customer walks away with a
five-star experience and every shift runs like a well-oiled machine.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the overall efficient operation of the food truck, including cleanliness, equipment
care, food quality and consistency, food safety, and safe vehicle operation
- Ensure every customer receives the best possible food experience — fast, friendly, and
five-star
- Provide hands-on expertise to support food truck operations as needed
- Orchestrate proper workflow between service stations during truck operation
- Lead post-service changeover and breakdown with the truck crew
- Monitor food portioning, quality, and safety before, during, and after service
- Assemble food products quickly, cleanly, and to Holy Cow standards
- Assemble and load all food and supplies for scheduled truck location(s)
- Stock the truck with condiments, serving utensils, and napkins; replenish as needed
throughout service
- Apply approved food production standards to ensure proper quality, serving
temperatures, and consistent portion control
- Serve customers efficiently and with a friendly attitude; invite them back
- Handle customer concerns professionally and represent Holy Cow Smash Burger in a
courteous manner in all interactions
- Monitor and operate the generator and propane tank safely and efficiently
- Replenish truck fuel as needed
- Clean the truck interior and exterior, kitchen work areas, spills, and remove trash and
empty containers
- Properly store all food items in designated areas using correct dating and labeling
procedures
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid state driver's license required
- At least 2 years of experience in a food service environment preferred; food truck or fast
food background a plus
- Must have reliable personal transportation and be able to arrive on time for all shifts
- Legal right to work in the United States (proof required)
- Available for 30-40 hours per week
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to stay calm and perform at a high level under pressure
- Positive, team-first attitude with a commitment to food safety and customer service
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours during a shift
- Safely lift and transport up to 30 pounds repetitively throughout a shift
- Comfortable working in variable outdoor conditions including heat, cold, and loud
environments
- Safely operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
- Maintain hand and finger dexterity for use of small tools and equipment
- Able to respond appropriately in emergency situations to protect yourself and others
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
