Lead Medical Aesthetician

Contour Medical Aesthetics is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Lead Medical Aesthetician to join our growing physician-led medical aesthetics practice.
With locations in Scarsdale, Bronxville, and Nanuet, NY, Contour provides personalized, results-driven aesthetic treatments in an elevated, patient-focused environment.
This position is ideal for an experienced medical aesthetician who is passionate about patient care and advanced aesthetics and is ready to take on a leadership, mentorship, and teaching role within a growing practice.
Qualifications
Required:
- Current New York State Esthetics License
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical aesthetics
- Previous experience working in a dermatology or plastic surgery practice
- Advanced knowledge of skin conditions, skin pathology, and appropriate aesthetic treatment protocols
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to take on a leadership and teaching role on behalf of Contour
- Must be willing and able to travel between Contour's Scarsdale, Bronxville, and Nanuet locations as needed

Responsibilities
As Lead Medical Aesthetician, you will maintain your own patient schedule while also serving as a leader and educational resource for Contour's aesthetics team.
Responsibilities will include:
- Perform advanced aesthetic treatments and provide exceptional patient care
- Conduct comprehensive consultations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Assess patients' skin concerns and determine appropriate aesthetic treatments
- Educate patients on treatments, skincare, maintenance plans, and appropriate home-care regimens
- Serve as a leader, mentor, and clinical resource for Contour's aesthetics team
- Assist in training and educating aestheticians on treatment techniques, protocols, technologies, and skincare
- Work with practice leadership to develop, implement, and maintain standardized aesthetic treatment protocols
- Help ensure consistency in treatment quality and the overall patient experience across Contour locations
- Maintain high standards for treatment rooms, sanitation, organization, and equipment care
- Ensure consistent and high-quality patient documentation and before-and-after photography
- Stay current on aesthetic technologies, treatments, products, skin conditions, and industry best practices
- Participate in continuing education and share relevant knowledge and techniques with the aesthetics team
- Collaborate with Contour's medical providers to develop comprehensive and combination treatment plans
- Support patient retention, rebooking, treatment-plan conversion, and appropriate skincare recommendations
- Participate in practice events, trainings, promotions, and educational initiatives as needed
- Help foster a positive, professional, collaborative, and accountable team environment

You should be comfortable taking ownership, providing constructive guidance to other aestheticians, teaching and reinforcing best practices, and working closely with Contour's medical and operational leadership to continuously elevate our aesthetics program.

Schedule: Full Time
Compensation: $60-$70k + 10% commission
Locations: Scarsdale, Bronxville & Nanuet, NY
