White Light Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate, skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing behavioral health and addiction treatment team in Columbus, Ohio.
As a leading Ohio Medicaid-approved substance use disorder treatment center, we provide evidence-based care for adults recovering from addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our nurses play a critical role in helping patients safely navigate detoxification, stabilization, and the early stages of recovery while providing hope, encouragement, and exceptional clinical care.

Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients receiving inpatient and outpatient substance use disorder and mental health treatment.
- Administer medications, and medical treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Assess and monitor withdrawal symptoms using evidence-based assessment tools.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments including vital signs, medication effectiveness, and changes in condition.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and behavioral health crises.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, case managers, and behavioral health staff to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
- Receive, reconcile, inventory, and securely document patient medications.
- Educate patients regarding medications, withdrawal management, wellness, and recovery.
- Promote a safe, therapeutic, and recovery-focused treatment environment.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred
- Experience in behavioral health, detoxification, addiction medicine, psychiatric nursing, emergency medicine, ICU, or medical-surgical nursing is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of substance use disorders, withdrawal management, and medication administration
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced healthcare environment
