Moveworx Sport & Spine is a performance-focused chiropractic and recovery clinic serving athletes and active individuals throughout North Georgia. Our mission is to help patients move better, recover faster, and perform at a higher level through evidence-based care and movement-focused treatment.

We are expanding our services to include sports-focused soft tissue therapy and are seeking a motivated massage therapist who is interested in working within a collaborative performance-based clinical environment.
This is not a spa-style setting. Moveworx focuses on sports recovery, injury prevention, and performance optimization. We emphasize individualized treatment, movement-based care, and collaboration with chiropractic treatment to help patients achieve lasting results.
Position Overview
The Sports Massage Therapist will provide targeted soft tissue therapy to support patient recovery, improve mobility, and complement chiropractic care within the clinic. The therapist will work closely with the clinic’s sports chiropractor to provide integrated care that supports athletes and active patients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide sports and recovery-focused massage therapy
- Address soft tissue restrictions and movement limitations
- Assist with athlete recovery and performance maintenance
- Communicate with the chiropractor regarding patient progress when appropriate
- Maintain a professional and welcoming treatment environment
- Uphold the clinical standards and patient experience of Moveworx Sport & Spine
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a massage therapist who is interested in working with athletes and active patients and enjoys being part of a collaborative care environment.
Preferred qualities include:
- Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Georgia (or soon to be licensed)
- Interest in sports massage, recovery, and movement-focused care
- Professional, dependable, coachable, self-motivated, and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with athletes and active individuals
Experience working with athletes or in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
Schedule & Work Environment
This position offers a flexible schedule with the opportunity to grow into either a part-time or full-time role based on patient demand, therapist availability, and overall practice growth. We value flexibility and encourage therapists to build a schedule that supports excellent patient care and long-term success for both the therapist and the clinic.
This position offers a flexible part-time schedule with the potential for expanded hours as demand grows.
Initial expectations may include:
- 2–3 days per week
- Flexible scheduling
- Opportunity to grow with the clinic as services expand
The therapist will work in a professional clinical setting alongside a sports chiropractor and within a patient population that values performance, recovery, and movement-based care.
Compensation
Compensation is structured as a 60% commission on services performed, with opportunities for increased compensation over time based on experience, performance, patient retention, and contribution to practice growth. Our goal is to reward therapists who provide exceptional care while helping grow the practice.
