Duties
- Conduct thorough patrols of hotel grounds, parking areas, and interior spaces to identify potential security risks or hazards.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance footage continuously to detect suspicious activity or unauthorized access.
- Manage access control systems to verify guest and staff identities, ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergency situations following established emergency response procedures.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy.
- Perform background checks on prospective employees or vendors as part of the security screening process.
- Assist in conflict de-escalation efforts, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve issues peacefully and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and access control platforms.
- Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use preferred.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and physical security duties safely.
- Familiarity with incident report writing standards and procedures for documenting security events accurately.
- Strong understanding of emergency response procedures for fire safety, medical emergencies, and other crises.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.
- Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough security screenings while complying with all relevant regulations.
- Physical fitness to patrol extensively during overnight shifts and handle potential confrontations confidently.
