We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – Pre-Op to join our team in Salina, Kansas. This is a full-time permanent opportunity offering excellent benefits, career growth, and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures.
- Complete pre-operative nursing assessments and documentation.
- Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-operative expectations.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Monitor patient condition and ensure safety before surgery.
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital policies and infection control standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Hospital nursing experience within the past 5 years.
- Previous Pre-Op, Surgical Services, or Perioperative experience is a plus.
