GreenLife United, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to support the environment (Green) and basic human needs (Life) in the local community. GreenLife currently has two locations operating as thrift stores and donations centers, each with a small food bank. All GreenLife properties are tobacco and drug free. Must have weekend availability and be 18 or over.
Responsibilities:
- Support the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
- Monitor and maintain store appearance, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving merchandise, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and reconciling sales transactions.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Collaborate with upper management to develop and implement store policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent retail sales skills
- Proficiency in cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-time
