That's probably the best way to describe this firm.
They've never been interested in becoming the biggest CPA firm in the area. Instead, they've built a loyal client base and a team where people genuinely stick around.
They've recently taken on a new group of clients, so they're looking for someone to join them as they continue growing at a steady pace.
The role is mainly tax, working with clients across real estate, restaurants, and closely held businesses. There's also some bookkeeping and year end accounting for smaller clients, giving you a bit of variety throughout the year.
It's a smaller office, so you'll work directly with clients, get to know them properly, and have a visible part to play in the team.
Outside of busy season you'll generally work a 37 hour week, with early finishes on Fridays. Busy season runs from February through April, with around 50 hour weeks. The team is mainly office based because that's how they work best. It keeps communication easy, clients well looked after, and creates the collaborative environment they've become known for.
