As a Sr. Grounds Technician, you'll play a key role in preparing and maintaining athletic fields, parks, and landscaping projects that residents enjoy every day. From supporting special events that bring the community together to helping keep public spaces safe, attractive, and functional, your work will make a visible impact throughout the City.

Please note: City Council has approved a Living Wage increase, and the salary shown in this posting will take effect beginning July 1
Maintain city parks and athletic fields by:
Collecting trash and debris
Mowing, weed-eating, edging, and blowing
Trimming trees and shrubs
Training employees on equipment operation
Interacting professionally with management, staff, and the public
Maintain athletic fields and facilities by:
Marking fields and measuring for accuracy
Cleaning courts and replacing equipment
Managing turf and applying field chemicals
Picking up trash and performing general upkeep
Repairing facilities (bleachers, parking lots, marquees, irrigation systems)
Perform administrative duties including:
Logging crew work activities
Recording chemical applications
Maintaining inventory
Assisting with setup for special events
