Dance Studio Manager

Ideal for someone with both management experience and dance teaching
Renner Dance is hiring a Studio Manager to act as the right hand to the owner and artistic director. We are looking for someone who can take full ownership of the studio's day-to-day activities. This is a high-impact role for someone who is not only organized and tech-savvy, but also has a background in dance instruction and is comfortable stepping into class when needed (with the understanding that teaching is not the main focus of the role).
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage class schedules in collaboration with the artistic director and teaching staff
- Coordinate teacher coverage and scheduling changes
- Manage and respond to parent communications across email and other communication channels in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner
- Manage and order studio supplies to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Manage the studio's inventory of dance shoes, tights, apparel, and other retail products, ensuring appropriate stock levels and organization
- Coordinate the planning and execution of major studio events, including the annual recital, Nutcracker, and other performances, in collaboration with ownership
- Support new growth initiatives that improve the studio experience for families and staff
- Step-in to lead a class when needed

- Based in Chapel Hill or within a short commute

- Organized, proactive, and self-directed — you love taking initiative and getting things done
- Tech-savvy — comfortable with Google Workspace and quick to learn new systems (Dance Studio Pro experience is a plus)
- Professional, friendly, and comfortable with kids and parents
- Has experience teaching dance and is confident leading a class when needed
- Experience in youth enrichment, arts management, or studio leadership is a strong plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
