Our hotel is hiring a PM Shift Bistro Cook/Bartender. This could be a FT or PT role. $15 per hour plus tips. 4pm til 11pm shift.
The Bistro Cook will prepare food and makes sure is is delivered to customers in a timely manner. A Bistro Cook is responsible for that station's workflow and getting meals out on time. They oversee the cooking process from start to finish and determine how much time each step requires. This position will also assist with bartending duties as needed.
- Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards.
- Date all food containers and rotate per brand standards, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
- Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set-up. Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages.
- Return all food items not used on next shift to designated storage areas, being sure to cover and date all perishables.
- Operate, maintain and properly clean kitchen tools and equipment.
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of related experience.
