GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Operations Manager oversees all aspects of inventory accuracy, movement, and control within a small-batch women’s clothing company. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can accurately process a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment. The Operations Manager will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, resolving discrepancies, managing allocations, and supporting eCommerce operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inventory Management & Allocation
- Release orders for all divisions promptly and accurately.
- Prioritize back orders and ensure timely replenishment when needed.
- Monitor and release ASAP orders.
- Reconcile any discrepancies between our records and those of our vendors packing slips as shipments are received.
- Confirm and adjust stock levels as needed, including reconciliation across systems (physical counts, ecommerce returns/damages, pre-booked goods, seasonal changeover returns, wholesale discrepancies).
- Track and resolve oversold situations caused by timing differences between systems.
- Uncheck backorders in Deposco to prevent accidental fulfillment.
- Maintain the accuracy of RLM by updating the style manager as needed.
Operational Support & Issue Resolution
- Process inspections in KPI.
- Clean up backorders in Deposco and RLM.
- Assist the warehouse with daily operational issues, including RA questions, correcting label weights, manifest issues, shipment lookups, packing problems, and locating boxes.
- Work closely with the warehouse operations to meet specific company SLA’s (service level agreements)
- Address issues with merged orders to ensure correct fulfillment.
- Ship international packages and provide tracking information.
eCommerce Support
- Manage and provide daily direction to the eCommerce fulfillment staff.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED FOR THE ROLE:
- 3+ years of inventory, operations, or warehouse experience; apparel experience preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with ERP and WMS systems (Deposco, RLM, or similar).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Supervisory or team-lead experience.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
