About the Role
Ahoy, matey! Are you a charismatic performer with a love for adventure, storytelling, and making people smile? Join the crew of Treasure Hunt: The Ride as a Pirate Actor & Brand Ambassador.
You’ll become a living, breathing part of our pirate world — roaming Cannery Row, captivating crowds, and driving ticket sales for one of Monterey’s most exciting attractions.
Your mission: Turn curious passersby into thrilled riders.
Key Responsibilities
- Dress in full pirate attire and roam Cannery Row with banners and props
- Engage guests with high-energy performances, improv, and pirate charm
- Share the story and experience of Treasure Hunt: The Ride
- Interact with families, groups, and individuals to build excitement
- Guide guests directly to the ticket counter
- Work as a team to create an immersive, lively atmosphere
- Track daily interactions and sales impact
- Maintain a positive, energetic presence at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Natural performer with strong acting or improv skills
- Outgoing, engaging, and comfortable approaching strangers
- Strong communication and storytelling ability
- Sales-minded — motivated to drive ticket purchases
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
- Reliable and punctual; able to stand/walk for extended periods
- Must be 18+
- Experience in acting, street performance, sales, or hospitality is a plus
- Pirate accent encouraged (we’ll help you find your sea legs!)
