Barista – Sweet B Cafe
Sweet B Cafe is looking for a motivated and quick learner who loves working in a fast-paced coffee environment. While making coffee is huge, our staff is cross trained in the kitchen, bar, & register. We are looking for someone who is very comfortable in a fast paced environment and can work well in a team setting. You will work alongside a team of friendly and supportive individuals. We encourage all baristas to remain calm, positive, and professional, even during busy periods, to help maintain a welcoming, clean, and customer-focused environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Support daily cafe operations effectively and consistently
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency behind the bar
- Contribute creative input for beverage menu development
- Help manage workflow, problem-solve in real time, and keep service running smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior food/drink service (required)
- Prior barista experience (preferred)
- Collaborates effectively in high-pressure environments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong multitasking, organization, and time management
- Ability to think quickly and stay calm under pressure
- A positive attitude and commitment to being part of the team long-term
Schedule:
- 10–40 hours per week
- Weekend availability required
- Opening and closing shifts as needed (between 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
