Hanson Sign Companies is a Western New York manufacturing and production facility with a national reach. We design and build custom commercial signage for major brands, stadiums, and attractions across the United States. Our work can be seen at Highmark Stadium, Times Square, Universal Studios, and more.
We are currently looking for someone to join our team in the welding/fabrication department.
Job Responsibilities
- Production assembly and fabrication of custom sign products
- Welding work including building custom signage from raw materials
- Use of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Quality control inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Following OSHA safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area
Qualifications & Skills
- Welding experience is a must
- Experience as a production worker, manufacturing associate, carpenter, fabricator, or warehouse worker preferred
- Strong carpentry skills (measuring, cutting, fastening, metal fabrication)
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools (saws, drills, etc.)
- Ability to read blueprints or production instructions
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
