About Gilded Group Decor
We transform celebrations into unforgettable experiences. Luxury weddings, spectacular mitzvahs and high-end private events, we design and fabricate it all under one roof. Our work appears in some of the most photographed events in the industry — and behind every centerpiece, signage wall, dance floor, and stage backdrop is a tight, talented team that obsesses over the details. We're growing, and we're looking for the next person to join our production design team.
The Role
We're hiring a meticulous, fast-moving Graphic Designer to own the print pipeline — the connective tissue between creative concepts and the physical, beautiful objects that arrive at our clients' events. You'll take in-house concepts and client artwork and prepare them for fabrication across vinyl, acrylic, foam, fabric, heat-press, and more. This is a high-volume, high-stakes role. A misplaced bleed, a missing font, or a low-res logo can hold up an entire production schedule and cost real money on the day of an event. We need someone who treats files like the precision instruments they are — and who thrives on getting everything right the first time.
What You'll Do
Order Intake & Project Setup
- Triage incoming design and print orders by event date and priority
- Build clean, consistent project folders organized by event name and planner
- Request artwork from our design team when needed, or develop original assets
File Preparation & Quality Control
- Build and prep artwork in vector format (Illustrator-first workflow)
- Embed images, verify resolution at print size, and confirm font availability
- Run every file through client + internal design team approvals before release
- Maintain consistent file naming across local storage and Hightail: Project Name / Item / Material / Dimensions / Quantity — e.g., Mitzvah Brian / 6' Bar Vinyl / X3
Printer Handoff
- Send each file separately via Hightail and confirm receipt with the printer via direct message
- All deliveries in RGB at 300 DPI per our production standard
- Communicate clearly with printers on specs, deadlines, and revisions
