Philadelphia Sign, one of the nation’s largest and most established National Sign companies is looking to add to our Installation team in the Tampa Florida Market. This exciting opportunity is based in Palmetto, Florida; however, services all parts of Florida. We are looking for an individual who is looking for a long-term role with room to grow from being an installers helper to an installer. You must be motivated and reliable who can add to the team by having the following skills which are essential to the overall success of the team. However, we are willing to train an ideal candidate who might not have all of the qualifications but is willing to learn.
· Ability to work as a team and at times independently
· Must have strong communication skills and be accurate, detailed and reliable
· Maintain a current, valid Class “C” driver’s license; however, a CDL license is a huge plus
· Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record
· Electrical background a plus
· Ability to use hand and power tools
· Ability to work in various outdoor climates throughout the year
· Availability to work overtime, travel and stay overnight(s) when required (roughly 5-10% of the time)
· Experience working with various electrical voltages is beneficial.
· Job duties include:
Ø Replacing electrical components such as: lamps, LED, neon, ballasts, power supplies, and switches.
Ø Other items: Sign installation help, cleaning signs, face replacement, drilling, caulking, digging
· Minor repairs including paint touch up
· Comfortable and ability working from various heights
· Fall Protection and OSHA Training is a plus
· Physical requirements include but are not limited to frequent bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, walking
