We are in the process of developing a chain of discount grocery stores across the US and Canada, our first locations are to be opened in the Chicago area. We are looking for someone with experience in Procurement (purchasing, supply chain, sourcing. etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Search for suppliers of goods
- Conducting negotiations with suppliers and concluding agreements for the supply of goods
- Conducting procurement of goods - monitoring the competitive environment
- Formation of a product assortment matrix
- Ensuring the fulfillment of planned indicators
Requirements:
- Higher education or equivalent experience
- Experience in sourcing and purchasing inventory for retail
- High communication skills
- Ability to communicate at the senior level
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Knowledge of fluent Russian language is required.
