About the Position
Favor Healthcare is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregiver to provide one-on-one personal care services for a client in Webster, TX 77598.
The primary schedule for this case is Mondays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Caregivers interested in additional hours may also have the opportunity to pick up PRN shifts with other Favor Healthcare clients as cases become available.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, caring, and passionate about helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.
Responsibilities
Caregiver responsibilities may include:
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal care needs.
- Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
- Prepare or assist with simple meals and encourage appropriate nutrition and hydration.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care, including tidying, dishes, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment.
- Provide medication reminders as directed by the client's care plan.
- Assist with errands and transportation when needed and authorized.
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition or needs to Favor Healthcare.
- Follow the client's individualized plan of care.
- Maintain the client's privacy, dignity, safety, and independence at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous professional caregiving, personal care, home care, or related experience preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
- Must be reliable and punctual for scheduled shifts.
- Ability to assist clients safely with personal care and mobility needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Must be able to reliably travel to the client's home in Webster, TX 77598.
- Ability to pass required background screening.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
Additional Hours Available
While this specific client requires care Mondays and Fridays from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, Favor Healthcare serves clients throughout the Greater Houston area. Caregivers who demonstrate reliability and quality care may have opportunities to pick up additional PRN shifts or be considered for other ongoing client assignments as they become available.
