Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Coordinator with a minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Process customer billing and prepare invoices accurately and on time.
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including posting payments and following up on outstanding balances.
- Process Accounts Payable invoices and assist with payment processing.
- Review and validate customer resale certificates.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Maintain customer records and accounting files.
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal departments regarding account inquiries.
- Work closely with the sales, warehouse, and accounting team to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Perform general office duties, including filing, scanning, and document management.
- Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
