We see a variety of orthopedic cases - sports, industrial, pre/post surgical, geriatric, post partum, etc. This PT owned clinic supports professional growth and autonomy, collaboration, flexibility, and family balance.
Current Hawaii Physical Therapy Assistant License is required. 1 year outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, but new grads and PTA's looking to change to the orthopedic setting are welcome to join our team, and start your orthopedic PT career here! We support continuing education in order to provide our patients with the best care possible.
Physical Therapist responsibilities
- Perform initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and return to work or sport assessments
- Devise detailed treatment and care plans for patients
- Communicate and coordinate with patients’ physicians to ensure a consistent level of care
- Effectively communicate and coordinate with patients and caregiver to ensure that their problems, concerns, and goals are addressed
- Execute effective physical therapy treatment program
- Complete Daily SOAP notes
- Record and document effectively on EMR
- Assist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries
- Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations
- Complete at least 30 hours of continuing education every two years
