Office Administrator / Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Desktop) – Part-Time
30 Hours per Week
Location: Tiffin, Ohio
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (30 hours/week, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
About Us
We are a well-established, family-owned manufacturing company with fewer than 20 employees seeking an experienced, dependable Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to join our team.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and takes pride in keeping an office running efficiently. As a key member of our team, you will support our accounting, bookkeeping, administrative, and human resources functions while working closely with company leadership. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and enjoys working in a small business environment where every team member makes a difference.
Primary ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping
- Process Accounts Payable, including matching invoices with receiving documents and entering invoices for payment
- Manage Accounts Receivable, including customer invoicing, receiving and applying payments, and following up on past-due accounts
- Perform daily online bank account reconciliations
- Assist with job cost calculations
- Update and maintain job records within the company database
Administrative Duties
- Enter and maintain daily employee timecards and attendance records
- Answer incoming telephone calls and provide professional customer service
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems
- Provide general administrative support to management
Human Resources
- Assist with new employee onboarding
- Coordinate employee benefit enrollment
- Serve as the liaison between employees and benefit providers
- Maintain confidential employee records
Marketing
- Assist with company marketing projects and communications
Office Maintenance
- Perform light office cleaning to help maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
Qualifications Required
- Minimum of three (3) years of bookkeeping, accounting, or office administration experience
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work independently
- Professional, dependable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
Preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing office
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and job costing
- Experience with employee onboarding and benefits administration
