Proficiency in servicing Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram vehicles is preferred. Technicians must have their own tools.
Job Duties
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicles using hand tools, air tools, and electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Operating vehicle lifts, brake lathes, tire mounting and balancing machines, a/c recovery machines, and other vehicle repair equipment.
- Testing of vehicle parts and operating systems for proper functionality.
- Communicating with Advisors, Dispatcher, and Service Manager to ensure a proper diagnosis.
- Performing repairs efficiently and thoroughly to promote customer satisfaction and repeat service business.
- Maintain training levels and factory certification.
- Ensure that all documentation required is on or attached to repair orders.
Job Requirements
- Technicians are required to spend long hours on their feet with a lot of time bending, straining, and working overhead. Technicians work in high heat and humidity in the summer and cold temperatures in the winter and at times are required to lift objects weighing in excess of 25 pounds. Technicians are also required to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free work environment and be free of distraction at all times.
