Receive, display and sort incoming donations. Assist with the pickup & delivery of items to & from donor locations. Work as a team to clean the work site(s).
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate affiliate owned vehicle to pick up donations and deliver furniture.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.
- Load and unload furniture donations, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging.
- Responsible for restocking the warehouse through the acceptance of donations.
- May include pricing items for sales floor and cashier duties in the barn area.
- Includes periodic janitorial duties to maintain Restore and/or Barn areas.
- Ensure that the donation Back Door receiving area is covered at all times.
- Ensure that customers receive outstanding service by maintaining a friendly environment.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Skills:
- Customer Focused
- Must possess valid Florida Driver's License
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass insurance company driving background test
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled work areas.
- Ability to load and unload furniture & donations using proper lifting techniques/ equipment.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local roads and routes.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, warehouse staff, and other team members.
Note: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and willingness to learn.
