Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm , Monday through Friday
Base pay: $15.50
Material Handlers provide general labor support of production and pack on demand lines or other areas such as assembly trays, lids, feed papers, palletizing, and configuring gifts for expediting customers order.
To successfully perform this job, we are looking for individuals who are able to efficiently:
- Build pallets according to storage s[specifications ensuring pallet patterns meet all requirements
- Ensure quality assurance and vendor compliance specifications are met
- Physically stack and unstack pallets (lifting up to 20-30 lbs), 50 lbs on rare occasions
- Support the shipping line with a constant flow or product or removal
- Read SKU numbers and sort product by size/SKU of box to prepare it for loading
- Perform other duties and works in other departments as assigned
- Adhere to all SQF (Safe Quality Foods) guidelines
- Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
Experience/Education
- Some high school education required
- Able to perform repetitive tasks on a consistent basis
SQF Guidelines
- No jewelry of any kind other than a plain wedding band
- No fingernail polish or fake nails
- No toeless or backless shoes
- Pants and shorts must be free of shreds, tears or holes
