Nagisa Sushi, a modern Japanese restaurant in Point Loma, is looking for skilled and reliable Sushi Chefs and Line Cooks to join our kitchen team.
Positions:
- Sushi Chef (Full-Time / Part-Time)
- Line Cook (Full-Time / Part-Time)
Pay: $20 – $40 per hour (depending on experience and position)
Schedule: Dinner only, 4:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and plate high-quality Japanese dishes with precision and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and sushi bar
- Handle ingredients properly and ensure food safety standards
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Support daily prep work and maintain efficient service flow
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience required
- Experience in Japanese cuisine or sushi preparation preferred
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- Must have valid ID and authorization to work in the U.S.
