Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver’s License Class A Flatbed Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across diverse routes. In this role, you’ll operate flatbed trucks hauling a variety of cargo. Your expertise in driving tractor-trailers and handling different types of freight will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. - $300 bonus for every Level 1, 2, or 3 DOT roadside inspection pass with no violations
Responsibilities
- Safely operate flatbed trucks across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight safely and appropriately as well as ensuring secured and balanced cargo placement
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security to ensure optimal operation
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while managing time effectively and adjusting for traffic or weather conditions
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, load details, and inspection reports in compliance with federal regulations
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during trips
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A
- Must be 23 years of age
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in truck driving with at least 6 months verifiable flatbed experience
- Demonstrate ability to load & unload freight safely
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to freight transport including load securement and vehicle inspections
- No more than 2 moving violations within the past 2 years
- No DUI convictions within the last 5 years
- No DOT recordable accidents within the last 3-5 years
- Must possess a current DOT physical long form and certificate
- Must pass DOT pre-employment drug screen
- Must successfully complete a road test
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with dispatchers and clients

Pay: $0.60 - $0.65 per mile
