Simply Sweet Bakery is growing at a very fast rate, and we are looking for an experienced Lead for our Mixing Department. This position is currently Full time hiring all three shifts.
We are looking for a Leader that can bring a high-energy, positive, get-it-done attitude; someone that is adaptable and someone who is attentive to details and takes pride in the products they produce.
You’re perfect for the role if:
You are VERY detail oriented.
You can read a recipe and use a scale.
You learn and follow instructions with great attention to detail.
You can maintain the pace of bakery production and manufacturing.
This role requires a few essentials:
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. (role requires a lot of strength)
Ability to be on your feet for at least 8 hours.
Ability to use a scale and measure ingredients.
Must be detail oriented.
Must be able to maintain a good speed with accuracy.
A few preferred qualities:
Previous experience with food production, manufacturing, wholesale product production.
Working with a team.
Adaptable and likes to learn new things.
Brief overview of responsibilities of the job:
You would be mixing the entire shift. Items to be mixed are cream pie fillings, pie crust dough, cookie doughs, icings etc.
At first you would be strictly learning all the recipes, but it could develop into leading a team of mixers.
There will be opportunities for advancement.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
