Our client, a leading organization in semiconductor manufacturing, is seeking a Equipment Maintenance Technician III to join their team. As a Equipment Maintenance Technician III, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician III
Location: San Jose, CA
Pay Range: $37-40/hour + 12.5% shift differential
Shift: BO - Sun-Tues, and every other Sat from 7p-7:30a. GO - Wed-Fri, and every other Sat from 7p-7:30a.
What's the Job?
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve semiconductor manufacturing equipment within a Class 100 cleanroom environment
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) according to schedule and established procedures
- Document all maintenance activities and equipment performance accurately in tracking systems
- Collect and record operational data as required to support continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Leadership teams to enhance equipment performance and operational KPIs
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, including vacuum, photolithography, or wet/plating technologies
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of control systems and PLCs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tracking systems, with excellent communication skills
