Duties:
- Receive and process parts orders from customers, technicians, and internal staff
- Verify accuracy of parts orders by checking part numbers and descriptions
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Maintain a clean and organized space, ensuring all parts are properly labeled and stored
- Assist in the identification and resolution of inventory discrepancies
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure accurate and efficient parts allocation for repairs
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving any issues related to parts orders
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in auto repair or automotive repair industry preferred
- Familiarity with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and their specifications
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including AS400 or similar order management systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process orders
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes is a plus
