Moore Twining Associates, Inc. has a history dating back to 1898 and has grown into a multi-disciplined consulting firm with six divisions specializing in Construction Inspection, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Services, Drilling Services and Analytical Chemistry. Our staff consists of Professional Engineers, Registered Geologists, Environmental Assessors, Certified Inspectors, Chemists, Drillers and Administrators.
Moore Twining is currently recruiting Special Inspectors in the Riverside, CA area. Candidates MUST have experience in construction inspection and materials testing with the ability to observe work for conformances with applicable plans and specifications, complete daily field inspection reports, identify and report discrepancies and possess some or all of the following certifications.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
-Observation, monitoring and testing for compliance with plans and specifications.
-Ability to read plans and specifications with inspection duties and requirements.
-Knowledge of the California Building Code (CBC), ASTM Standards, ACI Standards and AWS Standards
-Ability to clearly write daily field reports and discrepancy reports
-Have and maintain a clean driving record
-Ability to lift 50lbs.
Candidates should have some or all of the following certifications:
- ACI Level I Technician
- Nuclear Gauge
- ICC Reinforced Concrete
- ICC Structural Steel
- ICC Reinforced Masonry
- AWS/CWI
Range of Hourly Wages per hour depending on certifications and experience.
