Mig Welders / General Laborer – Full-Time | $18/hr | Independence, KS
Penmac Staffing is now hiring MIG Welders/General Laborers. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to grow with a company.
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
- Overtime may be required
- Pay: $18.00 per hour
General Laborer Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures, including wearing proper protective equipment, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Mig welding for fabrication of products
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to promote safety and productivity.
- Apply Bondo and perform sanding as needed to prepare and repair surfaces.
Requirements for the General Laborer:
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to squat, stoop, and bend as needed.
- Previous experience in general labor or manufacturing is helpful, but not required.
