Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar Manager to lead our vibrant bar team and elevate the guest experience. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all bar operations, including beverage service and customer interactions
- Manage inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs
- Oversee POS systems, specifically Toast POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Train, develop, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding food and beverage service in line with brand standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and alcohol service laws
- Handle shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand, including weekends
- Lead staff hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training to foster a high-performing team
- Maintain a strong, engaging bar presence and elevate overall guest experience
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food & beverage or bar management within casual dining or high-volume environments
- Strong knowledge of spirits, liquor, wine, and cocktail programs
- Experience with Toast POS required
- Full-time availability required, including Sundays
- Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training, development, and shift oversight
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of alcohol service laws and food safety standards
- Ability to manage inventory and control costs effectively
- Prior experience in upscale, lounge, or high-energy bar environments is a plus
