American Traveler is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience for a hospital OR Heart Team position in Aurora, CO.

Hospital-based OR Heart Team unit supporting a cardiovascular surgical program across 3 campuses
-
CV staff team of 15, with day shift structured as teams of 3 (2 RNs and 1 CST) and night shift as teams of 2 (1 RN and 1 CST)
-
1:1 patient ratio
-
Procedures include CABG, AAA, TAVR, and valve replacements
-
Equipment includes GE and Stryker platforms
-
EMR is Meditech/CPN; prior Meditech experience is preferred
-
Day shift schedule; no weekend requirements

Call requirements vary based on need and staffing, and will be discussed at interview

Floating within 25 miles of the facility may be required
-
Minimum 1 year of current, acute care CVOR Surgical Tech experience in a hospital setting
-
Open heart experience required
-
BLS, DORA, and NBSTSA certifications required and must be in hand prior to start

Active NBSTSA CST credential required; Colorado state license required (license required if applicable)

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

SSN (US only) and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required

Allied candidates must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the applicable role

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered

Prior experience traveling as a CVOR Tech in large trauma facilities is preferred
-
Cardiovascular experience beyond open heart (e.g., TAVR, valve) is a plus
-
Ideal candidates are flexible, confident, and team-oriented with a strong focus on patient experience and communication

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
