Position Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Test Engineer to support the validation and testing of our flame and gas detection devices. This is a hands-on role ideal for recent graduates or early-career engineers looking to gain practical experience in a high-tech manufacturing and safety environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, environmental, and performance testing on flame and gas detectors
- Assist in test setup, fixture operation, data collection, and documentation
- Troubleshoot product failures and work with senior engineers to analyze root causes
- Support product certification testing (IECEx, ATEX, FM, SIL)
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure test procedures are followed precisely
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and QA teams to resolve issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops welcome).
- Familiarity with basic electronics, instrumentation, and test equipment
- Strong attention to detail and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation abilities
