Chief Financial Officer Group Overview:
The Finance Management Summer Analyst Program (also referred to as FMAP internship) will introduce you to Bank of America and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Group. The CFO Group is responsible for the overall financial management of our company – financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet management, financial planning and analysis, treasury, accounting, investor relations, corporate investments, and tax.
Internship Overview:
This job is responsible for participating in the Finance Management Summer Analyst Program, a 10-week internship experience focusing on financial and management accounting, corporate and strategic finance, and internal treasury functions within the CFO Group. Key responsibilities include participating in a variety of activities designed to foster teamwork, encourage networking, and engage with senior leadership. Job expectations include building upon your academic foundation – specifically technical skills, industry knowledge and familiarity with a corporate environment – while pursuing your career based on interests and background.

A Day in the Life:
FMAP Summer internships give the Analysts a glimpse into the overall financial management of our company, vision, and culture. The Summer Analyst will have primary responsibilities that may include but are not limited to:
Takes proactive approach to learning
Forecasts financial and non-financial trends, develops models and performing financial analysis of business investments
Supports internal financial planning and management accounting functions
Presents financial data and analysis to business partners
Evaluates opportunities for process improvements across the CFO Group
Networks with finance executives and key stakeholders to cultivate meaningful relationships across various lines of business

Qualifications:
Candidates are required to be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or accelerated (4+1) degree program from an accredited college or university. Eligible candidates must have a final graduation date between November 2027 and August 2028.
Preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher
Common areas of study include but are not limited to:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
