Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced Pipe Crew Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in underground utility installation, pipe laying, trenching, grading, and operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety standards on all job sites.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and trenchers
- Install water, sewer, and storm drainage systems according to project specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, grade stakes, and site plans
- Perform trenching, shoring, and backfilling safely
- Ensure proper pipe alignment, grading, and connections
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Work closely with crew members, foremen, and supervisors to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in pipe crew operations or underground utilities
- Experience operating heavy machinery required
- Knowledge of pipe installation, grading, and excavation practices
- Ability to read construction plans and use grade instruments preferred
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
- OSHA certification is a plus

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
