Day Shift Caregiver *Must be 18 or older*

Schedule
- Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Days: Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Job Responsibilities
As a caregiver, you will play an important role in ensuring our residents receive quality, compassionate care in a safe and comfortable environment. Daily responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
- Administering medications accurately and on schedule.
- Promoting residents’ independence while providing assistance as needed to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Monitoring residents’ physical and emotional well-being and reporting any changes promptly.
- Cleaning and maintaining resident bedrooms, making beds, and keeping living areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Assisting with mobility, transfers, meals, and other daily care needs.
- Building respectful, compassionate relationships with residents and providing individualized, person-centered care.
- Following all care plans, medication procedures, and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience working with individuals living with dementia is preferred.
- Must be able to safely administer medications.
- CPR certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Oregon Care Partners training is preferred but not required.
- Dependable, compassionate, patient, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and strong communication skills.
