Director of Day Habilitation Services-Tabernacle, Burlington County, NJ
Friends of Cyrus is seeking an experienced, talented and compassionate Director of Day Habilitation to join our team!
This job involves development and oversight of a well established day habilitation program for adults with developmental disabilities in a state-of-the-art building in Millstone, Monmouth County.
Your job will include:
- Recruiting/Training & Managing Staff
- Attending meetings with Support Coordinators
- Compliance with all NJ DDD regulations
- Compliance with state licensing regulations
- Compliance with Friends of Cyrus's quality standards for safety, security, cleanliness, and comfort
- Oversight of the overall integrity of participant records for routine and timely review by internal and external auditors
- Ability to manage all aspects of a Day Program
- Ability to implement crisis intervention techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Education, Social Work, Psychology or related field,
- 5 years of successful experience managing a Day Program for adults with intellectual/ developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in relationship building & advocacy
- Flexibility & adaptability
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
