Lead Teacher
Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and educational activities for children in a daycare setting.
- Provide guidance and support to assistant teachers and classroom aides.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Utilize behavioral health techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior management.
- Incorporate physical education activities into daily routines to promote gross motor skills development.
- Teach basic math concepts through engaging and interactive activities.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and progress of each child.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.
- Implement behavioral therapy strategies to support children with special needs or behavioral challenges.
- Ensure compliance with child welfare regulations and maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or early childhood education setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Familiarity with behavioral health techniques and strategies for managing challenging behaviors.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
