Our Montessori preschool program is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Substitute Preschool Teacher to join our team for the fall semester. We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys working in a collaborative, child-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support and supervise preschool-aged children in the classroom
- Assist with daily classroom routines and activities
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment
- Encourage independence, respect, and social development in students
- Communicate professionally with staff and families as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior preschool or early childhood experience preferred
- Montessori knowledge or experience strongly preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
- Ability to engage positively with young children and support classroom management
Schedule:
Temporary substitute position running from August 24th through December 18th, 2026.
We are looking for someone who will be a positive addition to our school community and provide consistency and care for our students during this time.
Potential for long term placement at end of period.
