Join our vibrant team as a Snowie Shaved Ice Event Team Member and Food Truck Operator! As a key player in our mobile food operation, you'll prepare delicious shaved ice treats, operate POS systems, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve shaved ice treats efficiently, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. Be on time for event prep and set up.
- Operate POS system, Square, to process retail sales transactions accurately.
- Manage customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling products to enhance sales and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ice shavers and other food preparation tools.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give accurate change.
- Set up and break down the mobile food truck at various event locations while managing time effectively.
Experience
- Prior experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or food trucks is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in retail sales transactions, upselling techniques, and cash handling.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse audiences.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts.
- Experience operating kitchen or food industry equipment in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures is essential.

Pay: $16.47 - $20.00 per hour
