Looking for a Painter's Apprentice to learn all aspects of the business with the eventual goal of taking over the company when I retire. The right person will have a good work ethic, a positive attitude, professional demeanor and a desire to have a career in the trades. No experience is necessary, but you will be required to work on ladders as high as 32 feet and be ok working from a hook ladder on a roof.
You will learn how to do interior and exterior painting, plastering, carpentry and basic electrical and plumbing. You will learn how glaze and paint windows and repair broken sash cords. Eventually you will learn how to do estimating, how to keep good records, how to advertise and manage your web presence.
This is not a summer position, we are looking for full time, year-round person to add to our crew. A valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle are required. We are a drug and alcohol free workplace.
