Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Corporate Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support attorneys with corporate transactions, legal documentation, compliance matters, contract management, and corporate governance activities. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file corporate formation and governance documents
- Maintain corporate records, minute books, and compliance calendars
- Draft, review, and organize contracts and legal correspondence
- Assist attorneys with mergers, acquisitions, and business transactions
- Coordinate entity registrations and annual filings
- Conduct legal and factual research
- Manage document production and due diligence materials
- Communicate with clients, government agencies, and outside counsel
- Support litigation and regulatory matters as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of legal records
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Paralegal certificate
- 2+ years of corporate paralegal experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance and legal procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal management software
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: Full Time 40-hours weekly
Monday through Friday
9:00am-5:30pm
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
