Job Description
Tank Mechanic, Small Engine and Yard Maintenance
Responsibilities:
· Maintain equipment in a clean, organized and safe working conditions
· Service diagnoses and repair small engines, 12/24 volt pumps, and 115/240 volt pumps
· Assist in transporting fleet vehicles to 3rd party maintenance as needed
· Maintain loaner tank fleet at customer locations (500-gallon - 2,000-gallon tanks)
· Maintain and service loaner tank fleet upon return to the yard for readiness to send out to customers
· Maintain tank and tank top equipment
· Painting Fuel tanks
· Maintain schedules of tank services
· Maintain good relationships with customers on site
· Maintain tank parts inventory
· General yard maintenance
· Ability to report to work and assist in adverse weather for emergency response situations
· Deliver DEF weekly or upon request
· Welding repairs on tanks and skids
· Maintain cleanliness of shop and service vehicles
· Assist with fuel spill/cleanups
· Operate forklift and unload deliveries as needed
· Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED
· Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
· 1+ year CDL truck driving experience, preferred
· Class A or Class B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements
· Clean driving record
· Ability to obtain TWIC security clearance
· Pass a background check
· Pass a drug test
· Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
· Ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds
· Basic electrical understanding
· Small engine repair knowledge
· Ability to work in all environments and weather conditions

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
